Day 8 of my hostage crisis is now upon me. It appears my captors, while not violent, have a way of coaxing things from me I might not otherwise offer… I fear what may happen if I had no answers during their next visit. Please send help and double stuffed oreo cookies…thanks!

- My signature candy? Red Swedish Fish
- I get fixated on subjects that interest me to the point of compulsion
- I only allow myself one good book a month now, otherwise all I would do is read
- I can raise my right eyebrow, waggle my nose, and wiggle my ears without moving my head, or using my hands (does this count as three things for this list?). I can do all three at once too
- I installed my own inground swimming pool for our family 4 years ago (long story)
- I love The Walking Dead TV series
- I can’t stand being cold at all and I prefer being in the heat
- I was a guest on a beer making podcast talking about home-winemaking (yes, I’m that dorky)
- When I play golf my short game is better than my long game. It used to be vice versa
- When I get time, I’m actually not too shabby of a cook (not bragging because what I mean is that what I cook is at least edible. Anyone care for a poptart, or frozen waffle?)
