About Warlockery
Warlockery is an independent buying-guide site for keyless door locks and smart locks. We help you compare models and pick one that fits your door.
Right now our guides cover keypad deadbolts, Wi-Fi and fingerprint locks, handle sets, and locks that work with Apple Home, Matter and Z-Wave. We add new guides over time.
What we cover right now
You'll find plain buying guides, side-by-side comparisons and single-model reviews. We cover brands like Schlage, Kwikset, Yale, Aqara and Philips.
We also explain the small things that decide whether a lock fits, like backset, door thickness and what a retrofit lock changes. You don't need to know the jargon first.
What we do
We read the product details, specs and maker information for every lock we cover. We also look at what buyers often say after living with one.
Then we turn it into guides in everyday words. You can read more on our How we research page.
What we don't do
We don't sell locks, and no brand pays us to rank its products.
We don't claim to have tested every lock ourselves. When we pick something, we tell you why, based on its specs, its features and buyer feedback.
How we earn money
Some links on this site go to stores like Amazon. If you buy through them, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you.
That never changes which products we pick. Our affiliate disclosure has the details.
