Italian outlet Register ufabet Sport reports that Napoli are looking for a new number 9 striker as they are likely to lose Osimhen in the upcoming summer transfer window. Most recently, they are keeping an eye on Retegui, a member of the Italian national team from Genoa.
The report states that Retegui performance and playing form are at a good level. And it’s worth investing in for Napoli. Even though their first season in Serie A scored 8 goals from 27 games in all competitions and 6 goals from 23 Serie A games, overall they were able to adapt well. And had an excellent performance with the Italian national team, 4 goals in 6 games.
Even Napoli still don’t know who will be their trainer next season. But they know that there is a chance of losing Osimhen, who a big club might be willing to pay a contract price of 120-130 million euros, while the backup option, Giovanni Simeone, is not good enough.
